The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) provides a secretariat for the world's largest institutional investor collaboration on the business implications of climate change. Over 300 institutional investors collectively sign a single global request for disclosure of information on Greenhouse Gas Emissions sent out by CDP to the largest publicly quoted companies. Responses and reports can be viewed at www.cdproject.net.
In July 2008, PricewaterhouseCoopers were awarded a contract to manage the reporting of CO2 emissions under the project.
